After logging in to portal.senetco.io, select the correct application for the device you wish to add (Production or Test).

Click on the + icon (Device Management) to add a new device.

Select the upload icon (Register, Activate or Deactivate Devices from CSV File.

Copy over the Application EUI and Join Server EUI. Set Action to Register and upload the CSV file (shown below).

Request a new token or use your previous token.

Select Activation Type: OTAA, Contract: Omni-ID, Device Profile according to the location (needs further explanation on which device profile to choose).

A results page will show the actions taken and if there were any issues.

After the Devices have been Registered, Select the upload icon again and repeat the above steps selecting Activate as the Action. Activating the devices will start the billing cycle, so only activate when the customer is ready to start using the devices.

Deactivating the Devices WILL NOT STOP the Billing cycle. After deactivating, the devices need to be powered off or power-cycled to stop the billing.


Generating the CSV file

Create a table in Excel or Numbers (Excel on MacOS had issues) with the following information and save as a .csv. devEui can be found on the label for the Sense Asset+ and the appKey can be obtained by accessing the Production Log File or reaching out to the Product Manager. In Column G (tags), enter the projects LoRa API KEY for BZ to be able to associate the tags to the correct project. Please use the following as a template for your CSV file here.
