Unit of Measure Change (Metric/ Imperial)

Unit of Measure Change (Metric/ Imperial)

Overview

Bluzone supports the display of temperature and vibration units in both Imperial and Metric.  Changing the unit settings on your account will allow you to use the unit system of your choice when visualizing data in Bluzone and when setting threshold values in the Temperature and Vibration Policies.

Getting Started

To change the units on your project, go to My Account.  This can be accessed by clicking on your username in the top right of the screen:

In My Account, scroll down to the Preferences section at the bottom:

You may then select your preferred units for each temperature, velocity vibration, and acceleration vibration.

Saving Changes

You must click the 'Save' button at the bottom of the screen in order for these changes to go into effect.

Viewing Changes

You can see the updated units on the charts in Bluzone.  Go to the Statistics tab of a beacon, and click the Chart button in the top right of the screen:

You can see the updated acceleration vibration units on the y-axis of the plot by selecting the Metric 'X-axis Motion (HS)' from the dropdown:

You can see the updated velocity vibration units on the y-axis of the plot by selecting the Metric 'X-axis Velocity' from the dropdown:
