Sense Asset+ Firmware update

Firmware on the Asset+ can be updated to the latest version using bluzone.

  1. To do this place the Asset+ device near a BluFI and ensure it is turned on.

  2. Select to the device in the beacons list, once in the general tab for the device and select Firmware tab along the top.

  3. review the current firmware version, select the latest available version from the drop down list and press install.

  1. This will generate a device job to update the device firmware, the job will be placed in a que and proceed

  2. To view details of the firmware update press on the device job.

     

  3. Once the Firmware update is completed the device will reboot.

Note:

  • The device must be near a BluFI when the job is scheduled and must remain near the same BluFI while the firmware update occurs.

  • Limit the number of BLE devices near the BluFI, Firmware update requires a air interface free from BLE congestion to avoid multiple packet collisions.

  • Once the firmware is updated the device may update NFC configuration, check NFC configuration after the device reboots and validate the FW version has correctly updated
