Detailed look into Data Logger app

Step-by-step guide

Enable logging:

  1. Install Data Logger App

  2. Open the app and log in using the same Bluzone.io credentials
  3. Select the beacon you would like to enable logging for
    1. an orange light flashing on the beacon will indicate that you are connecting to the correct beacon
  4. Once you are connected to the beacon, click "Install Firmware Loader"
    1. notice that the beacon will disconnect right after this is completed
  5. Click connect once again
  6. Select "Update Firmware" and wait for the app to finish updating the beacon
  7. After the update is done, connect to the Beacon again
  8. Now, you can use the switches to enable or disable the loggings you would like
  9. Input an interval time for logging
    1. This will be the interval in which it logs the data
  10. Press "enable logging" to start data logging
    1. Notice that changing the interval or re-enabling logging will erase the logs that were previously saved

Read/Send Logs:

  1. Open the app and log in using the same Bluzone.io credentials
  2. Select the beacon you would like to enable logging for
    1. an orange light flashing on the beacon will indicate that you are connecting to the correct beacon
  3. Once you are connected to the beacon, click "Read and Send Log Data"
  4. After the data has been read, the data will appear in Bluzone.io Dashboard.
